RELEASED: Paranoid Rezurrection v11.5!

HannibalI will be brief: this is the link of Paranoid Rezurrection v11_5, which is definitively a LAG-free version, with many fixed bugs and important gameplay and difficulty balances. Enjoy it!

One does not simply update Paranoid indeed. Every new version Hannibal adds new things and most of them need to be tested more than once until they get fixed; not only because of themselves, but also because how they interact with other existing things. This time there were tons of new errors since lots of things were completely changed from the previous (Ultimate-V10) version, and needed to be tested.
There are new modes, new monsters, new weapons, new triggers… But that’s not all, many already-existing things were reworked or even completely remade from scratch to improve the way things work and make sure there weren’t weird conflicts between the old and the new.
Also, all the Monsters, Weapons and Global Triggers have been templated this time around; wich allows for more randomizing on their spawn positions and even the possibility of repeating them multiple times in an easy way.

I will list in the future everything that is new from Ultimate-V10 to Rezurrection-V11, but for the moment I rather keep them “secret” (even if many people played the map already during tests) so you guys can discover them while playing.
Hannibal wants V11_5 to be the last needed version; but I believe some important (even if maybe not major or gamebreaking) bugs will be found and a V11_6 or V11_7 may end being needed. But after many test versions (lots of them!) the map should play with no bigger issues on the servers; and that’s the only way to find the remaining minor problems within.

    Alex, you asked the same question on the previous post and Mat.Duf answered you… XD

    You need to get the JukeBox item for doing so. The JukeBox has around 50% chances of appearing, and appears on top of the “Spray Area” of the Spawn (is pretty visibile when it spawns). To reach it you first need to had been a winner on the previous round (reached the Coliseum as a Human or just reached the end on the modes that lack Coliseum).
    Once you are labeled as a winner, if the JukeBox appears on the next round, you have a chance of getting it, but getting it its not easy and requires some tricky jump.

    Once all those things are meet and you manage to get it; pressing “A” and “D” will change the selected music; and pressing the 2nd mouse button while holding Knife, Grenade or any weapon with secondary function will play the selected song.
    Notice that there is an internal cooldown before you can play a new music, and that you should wait to override the map’s default music (wait until default music starts playing before playing a music yourself); since any song that starts playing will stop all the other songs to avoid double-music.

    Thanks for the update and congrats.
    The only thing which is still anoying is that props can be spammed, it can be tricky sometimes.

    Hmmm the music is a pain in the ass for Youtube… I can imagine 0 paranoid runs to ever appear on Youtube because of the licenses. Disabling music is kind of boring, but if it’s the only way to go then it’ll be so. I’ll test and c what yt has to say.

    Not sure there Joris. There are tons of CS:S videos on Youtube and all of them use one licensed music or other. XD
    Also, most people uploading map runs or victories on Youtube do it so with their own custom music instead of the map’s one (and those are lincensed aswel).

    I remember a vid of a run of moria where the sound was withhold because of the Lotr’s soundtrack licence ^^. Anyway if youtube detect a music under licence there will just be a little annotation near the vid and some ads too. (like one of my vid)
